Anneliese Maria Sattler Nix, 63, of Easley, went to rest peacefully with the Lord on Wednesday, August 6, 2014. She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Maria McMahan, and son-in-law Dana Roy McMahan; Karen Lesley Nix Brown and son-in-law Michael David Brown, and grandson Benjamin Grissom Brown; grandchildren Hannah Maria, Aidan Daniel, Ethan Bruce, Landan Thomas, and Nolan Samuel McMahan; her mother Mathilde Katarina Killermann Sattler; her siblings, Helmut Karl Sattler, Christine Luise Guhl, Monika Hedwig Sattler, and Wolfgang Josef Sattler. She is preceded in death by her father, Friedrich Sattler. The Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at 12:00 pm at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. The family will receive friends immediately following the mass in Croghan Hall. Flowers may be sent to the Church. Her ashes will be taken to her homeland of Germany to reside with her sister Christine Guhl.
