Obituary for Linda Gay Kowatch
Linda Gay (Navidonski) Kowatch, 61, of Duncan, South Carolina, and formally from Gaylord and Alpena, Michigan passed away May 13, 2016 with her family by her side.
Linda is survived by her husband Joseph Leo Kowatch of Duncan, South Carolina; her children Justin (Annette) Kowatch of Gaylord, Michigan; Amy (Kevin) Johnson of Kalkaska, Michigan; and her grandchildren Allison and Joseph Kowatch of Gaylord, Michigan.
Linda was born on October 14, 1954 in Gaylord, Michigan to parents Frank and Marjorie Navidonski. She graduated from Gaylord High School in 1972 and then married Joe, the love of her life. After having their two children, Justin and Amy, they moved their family to Alpena, Michigan where they lived for 26 years on Lake Huron. In 2003 the couple relocated to Duncan, South Carolina, where they enjoyed southern living. Linda was a loving wife, mother and friend. Her contagious smile and soft laugh will be missed by many.
A memorial “Celebration of Life” will be held on June 26, 2016 at the Gaylord Eagles Hall from 1:00-4:00pm.
