Obituary for Elsie Mae Rowland
Elsie Mae Rowland, 78, of Pickens, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 13, 2016.
Elsie was a member of Rice's Creek Baptist Church.
She is survived by her four sisters: Betty Floyd, of Pickens; Irene Westall, of Marion, NC; Gail Patterson, of Griffin, GA, and Nancy Hughes, of Cartersville, GA; and a brother, Melvin Rowland, of Boiling Springs.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Pauline Cannon Rowland; Hovey Rowland, Ralph Rowland, Harold Rowland, Harry Rowland, Jr., and Frances Trotter.
The visitation will be held on Friday, September 16, 2016 at Holly Springs Baptist Church at 12:00 pm, with the funeral service following at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to RIce's Creek Baptist Church of Liberty, or Holly Springs Baptist Church of Pickens.
Interment will be at Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
