Donna Lee  Gadberry
Donna Lee Gadberry, 63, of Greer, entered Heaven in peace and love, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, October 13, 2016.

She was born Feburary 5,1953 in Port Townsend, Washington to the late Lee and Alma Martin.

She is survived by her sons, Kirk Aaron Gadberry, of Spartanburg, and Zachary Franklin Tucker, of Greenville; her grandchildren, Tiffany Alexandra Lathan of Pickens, and Zachary Pearce Tucker of Greenville; her siblings, Phillip Martin and wife Leane, of Greenville, Johnny Martin, of Columbia, Linda Young, of Travelers Rest, Dura Martin of Piedmont, Jimmy Martin and wife Milissa of Gaffney, and Mary Alford and husband Chris of Greensboro, NC; and her many loving nieces and nephews.

Donna was preceded in death by her daughter, Michelle.

She also served in the United States Army in Fort Hood, Texas.

After leaving the military, Donna attended and graduated from the University of Mary Hardin Baylor with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education; and retired from the Greenville County School System, where she won many awards. She was Teacher of the Year while teaching at Tanglewood Middle School and was also listed in “Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers”.
Donna was a devout Christian and loved spreading the word of Jesus. She enjoyed decorating and maintaining her beautiful home. She loved her well-kept yard and greatly admired her colorful flowers.

Donna loved her family and will forever be missed by all who knew her.

The visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at 1:00 pm at The Palmetto Mortuary, with the funeral service following.

Interment will be at Greenville Memorial Gardens
