Obituary for Fran Carolyn Huff (Parker)

Fran Carolyn Huff (Parker)
Fran Parker Huff began life's final great adventure on November 16th, 2016.
Born on August 4th, 1951, in Augusta, GA. Daughter of the late Mildred Elise Golden
and niece to the late Keneth Golden, she was full of love from the very begining. She blessed
almost everyone she met with her kind, loving spirit. From her first steps, she was a
pure angel walking amongst us all.

She was mother to a daughter, Krystale Michelle Huff, and a son,
Edgar Everette Huff lll, "Tripp". Mother-in-law to Jason William Miller, as well as
a beloved Grandmother to Ethan Everette Miller, Brooklyn Miller, and Brason Miller.
A loved partner to Mr. Italo Maddaloni, and very good friends with her ex-husband,
Edgar Everette Huff Jr., loved father of her children.

Fran served God, doing his work as a nurse, CNOR, RN, as well as a surgical nurse
for 35 years and took care of others in different hospitals for over 50 years. She loved helping people. Even as a patient in the hospital, she made her nurses and doctors laugh and smile.
She had this affect on everyone she knew.

She would go without, so others would have what they needed. She worked as a nurse at
Allan Bennet Hospital, Mary Black Hospital multiple times, as well as Spartanburg Regional Hospital System multiple times, until she retired in the summer of 2001. Even after her early retirement, she still cared for others until her passing, willing to give anyone the shirt off her back, that needed one at the time.

She was a "second mother" to many, many people she loved and considered her children. Some of whom are Eric S. Hope, John C. Hope, Joel R. O'Sullivan, Kristen M. Jackson, Exdelon J. Roberson, Dustin Martin, Mandy McAllister, Jericho Kempton, Carl and Haylee Gillenwater, among many others.

She, being the kind of person she was, would not want anyone to mourn over her passing,
or shed a tear for her. She would want us all to smile and rejoice in the fond memories
we carry of her. Fran's "Celebration Of Life" will be held at Ben Avon Baptist Church, in Spartanburg, at 2:00 PM, on Saturday, December 3rd. Anyone who wants to come is welcome. If there is anyone who would like to say a few words, they are more than welcome to. Rev Jon Simone will be residing over the seremony.

Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 PM Saturday, December 3rd, at Ben Avon Baptist Church,
2437 Wallace Ave, Spartanburg, SC 29302. All friends are invited to a reception, immediately following Fran's service.

In lieu of flowers and memorial contributions may be made to Ben Avon Baptist Church
at 2437 Wallace AVE, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
