Obituary for Luz Belen Sargent

Lucy Sargent, 76, of Greenville, loving wife of Rick Sargent, caring mother of Stephen and William Sargent, and rapt admirer of sister, Adriane (Deena) Iannacone Sligh, passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 of Alzheimer's Disease.

Lucy was born in New York City of now-deceased parents Lucrecia and Herminio Medina.
A brother, Richard, passed away in 1954.

Lucy was a talented artist, a wonderful cook, and a passionate gardener. She never met a person she didn't like and never made an enemy. If two people could be described as joined-at-the-hip, it would be Lucy and her husband Rick.

After her husband Rick retired, he and Lucy moved to Greenville and never thought of leaving this wonderful town.

She will be missed by everyone she knew.

The visitation will be held on Friday, December 9, 2016 at 2:30 pm at The Palmetto Mortuary, with the funeral service following.
