Carmen Lynn Hamm, 55, of Greenville, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 24, 2017.

She is survived by her mother, Betty Joe Elliott; her son, Nathan Lee Nix; her siblings, Grover and Debra Fretwell and Family; Margaret E. Marrow and Family; Freddie C. Crummie; and Ann McCall; her two granddaughters; and her many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Lakisha Mae Nix; her father, Grover Morris Fretwell; and her step-father, Jerry Lee Nix.
