Jo Jones of Greer, SC passed away into the loving arms of Jesus on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at the McCall Hospice House
Sarah Josephine McDonald Jones
Born on Sep 21, 1933 in Hodges, SC
Daughter of Sarah Mitchell McDonald and Henry Otto McDonald, Sr.
Jo was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, John E. Jones and by her son, Don Jones
She is survived by three brothers, Bob McDonald of Charlotte, NC, Thomas McDonald of Clover, SC, and Wayne McDonald of Hilton Head, SC and one sister, Dorothy Wrenn of Greenwood, SC
She was preceded in death by 5 brothers, Otto McDonald, William McDonald, Charles McDonald, Doug McDonald and Hiram McDonald and one sister Lydia Jane Turner
Jo attended Brushy Creek Baptist Church, Taylors, SC
A memorial service to celebrate Jo’s life will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Brushy Creek Baptist Church, 4999 Old Spartanburg Rd, Taylors, SC at 4:00 PM. Family visitation will be 3:00 – 3:45 and immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a memorial gift to the Gideons International to help spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
