Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Thomas Townes can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thomas Wade Townes
Thomas “Wade” Townes, 67, of Easley, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 15, 2017.

He is survived by his son Christopher Townes; his daughter, Jennifer Belk Foley; his sister Nancy Townes (Danny) Burrell; and his three grandchildren, Jordan, Cody, and Jaxson.

He is proceeded in death by his wife Wanda Belk Townes; and his parents Ola Mae Crenshaw Townes and Ralph Kirksey Townes.

Wade was known as a front-end alignment specialist at the local Ford dealership for 39+ years.

The visitation will be held on Friday, August 18, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Gilead Baptist Church at 207 Blue Flame Drive with services following at 5:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions made my made to Gilead Baptist Church.
