Harold Louis  Miller Jr.
Harold (Skip) Miller 67, of Greenville, SC passed away on August 26, 2017 after a brief battle with thyroid cancer. Born on May 30, 1950 in Lancaster, PA, he was the son of the late Harold Louis and Kathryn Garrett Miller.
Skip served with the US Army in combat in the Vietnam War where he was awarded 2 Purple Hearts. He enjoyed a career in business. Skip loved politics, nature, golf, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Katherine Woods Miller, son, Matthew Miller (Lauren), daughters, Karin Jenkins (Austin), Jessica Greer (Chandler), and Laura McCarthy; 8 grandchildren, Rion and Lucas Miller, Robert, Mary Kathryn, and Alex Jenkins, Harper and Garrett Greer, and Abigail McCarthy; sister, Bonnie Miller-Smith (Joe) and brother Michael Miller (Tina).
Funeral services will be held at St. Giles Presbyterian Church on Monday, August 28 at 4pm with visitation to follow. Memorials may be made to St. Giles, 1021 Hudson Road, Greenville, SC 29615 or FAVOR, 355 Woodruff Road, Suite 303, Greenville, SC 29607.
