Daisy Jean Crunk Evans, a long time resident of Greenville, SC went to be with her Lord on Saturday, November 11, 2017.

She is survived by her loving husband, Ronald Lee Evans; her children, Teresa Stratton (Mike), Debbie Guerrant (Jeff), Veronica Dorsey (Tony) and Becky Fowler (Brian); her grandchildren, Mary Jean (Jeannie) Stratton, Caroline Grace Stratton, John Michael Stratton, Matthew Mark Underwood, Zilah Ada-Leigh Underwood, Jeffrey Scott (Scottie) Guerrant, Jr.(Missy), James Robert (Bobby) Guerrant (Kimberly), Ronald Douglas (Doug) Guerrant, Cierra Alexis Rae Moore, Julia Christine Dorsey (Christy), and Michael Anthony Dorsey II; her great grandchildren, Ellyssa Tory Medford, Laney Danielle Guerrant, Micah Levi Guerrant, Noah Matthew Guerrant and Josiah David Guerrant; her five nieces; and her brothers Henry Crunk (Bernadette) and Larry Crunk (Debbie), many other family members and a host of lifelong friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Franklin Crunk and Julia Imogene Cannon Crunk; and her brother Douglas Alfred Crunk.

Born in 1947 in Elizabethton, Indiana, she spent her childhood years in Hopkinsville, Kentucky where she graduated from Hopkinsville High School in 1965. She later resided in Harrisonburg, Virginia then moved to Greenville, SC where she lived until her death. Jean retired as a kindergarten teacher of 14 years from Tabernacle Christian School. She was a faithful member of Freedom Baptist Church.

Burial will be held on November 14, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery, at 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, SC. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2017, at 5:00 p.m. at Freedom Baptist Church at 1907 West Parker Road, Greenville, SC 29617 with services following at 7:00 p.m. At Jean’s request, please wear your brightest attire as we celebrate her life.
