Robert Alan  Karikka
Robert A. Karikka (Bob) of Easley, SC passed away on Friday, September 22, 2017
Robert was born August 18, 1946 in Ithaca, NY and grew up in Ogden, UT.

True to his Finnish heritage, he had a fun-loving sense of humor. He was forever the jokester.
You never knew what to expect from him, and he always filled his home with laughter.

Robert, a devoted loving husband and father who was very active in his children lives.
He coached Soccer, Little League Baseball, and Jr. All American Football. He also participated
in his children's school activities.

After serving 2 years in the US Coast Guard, he went on to served 9 more years in the
US Coast Guard Reserve in Alameda, CA.

Most of his career was in upper management in various areas of the textile industry.
With the decline in textiles, he later worked in the plastics industry, and aerospace industry
(airplane paint)

Robert is survived by his wife of 48 years, Carrie Karikka, son Kurt Karikka, daughter Eryn Neidle, son-in-law Craig Neidle, granddaughters, Ariana Karikka & Sarah Neidle, and grandson Joshua Neidle.
Robert is also survived by his mother Katherine Karikka who is 100 years old, and his older sister Diane Schmidt.

A celebration of life service will take place on September 28, 2017 at Trinity Point Church in Easley.
