Audrey Southerland Burrell, 83, of Greenville, SC, went to be with the Lord on December 4, 2017. She was born on August 26th, 1934 in Greenville, S.C.to Harry Joseph and Annie Della Amick Southerland.
Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Art Hightower and then her husband James Burrell, and her son, Joseph Richard Fleming. She is survived by her son, Douglas Edwin Fleming of Greenville, S.C., and his children, Douglas Blaine Fleming, and Amy Crumley and her children Ava and Aiden. Audrey is also survived by her daughter, Michele Russell of Clemmons, NC and her husband, Rusty and their children, Robby Russell and his wife, Tatiana, and their son Alexander, Matt Russell, Isaac Russell, and Elizabeth Russell. Audrey is also survived by her sisters Brenda Kuykendall of Woodruff, SC and Debbie Poore of Mt. Airy, NC and their children and the wife of her late son, Kim Fleming of Columbia, SC.
A memorial service will be held at New Life Baptist Church, 2690 W. Blue Ridge Drive, Greenville, SC on Friday, December 8, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be held at the church prior to the service at 12:00 noon.
