Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Virginia Carson can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Virginia Pym Carson (Pym)

Virginia Ann Pym Carson, 69, of Greenville, wife of late Bernard Carson passed away peacefully at McCall Hospice House on Friday, January 19, 2018. She was the daughter of late Reverand Earl and Ruby Pym.
Virginia graduated from Wadesboro High School, North Greenville Jr. College and Greenville General Hospital School of Nursing. She earned her BA from Furman University. She was a dedicated registered nurse.
She is survived by her brothers, Milton (Linda) and David Pym; sister, Ruth Curtis; stepdaughter, Renee Sosbee; three step-grandchildren; her brother-in-law, Reverend Everett Perry; two nieces and one nephew; three grand nieces and one grand nephew; two aunts; and many cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Ernest Pym; and sister, Mary Jane Perry.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to McCall Hospice House.
Service of remembrance will be held on Sunday January 28, 2018 at 2 pm at Mt. Airy Baptist Church, 210 Mt. Airy Church Road, Easley, SC. Family will receive friends in the sanctuary following the service.
