William J. Couch Jr. of 112 Richbourg Road, passed away January 27, 2018 at McCall Hospice House at the age of 88.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Marian G. Couch, his children; Tom (Ann) Couch, Rick (Susan) Couch and Sandie (John) Crawford, his seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

William was a graduate of Greenville High School and retired as a Major after 34 years with the Greenville City Fire Department. He was a member of Laurel Baptist Church and a member of Fellowship of Christian Firefighters International.

He was preceded in death by his parents William J. Couch Sr. and Maude Haroin Couch and his sister Barbara Blitch.

The family will receive other family and close friends from 12:00-4:00 pm at 112 Richard Road on Saturday, February 3, 2018.
