Obituary for Norman Yelner

Norman Yelner, 86, of Simpsonville went home on February 15, 2018.

He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Yelner; adoring children, Bobbie Jo Germino (John), Richard Palka (Connie), Kenneth Palka (Helen), Gary Yelner (Michelle), Richard Yelner (Robyn); loving grandchildren, Salvator and Gina Arma, Sara Palka, Ashley Pineda (Jose), Jason Yelner, Lauren and Jake Yelner, Jennifer, Richard, Timothy, Johnathon, Michael, and Howard Weeks; great grandchildren, Christopher and Erika Pineda; nieces, Bonnie Levinson, Marla Brill, and Patricia Yelner; and friends, Carol Greenstein and Geraldine Meltzer.

He was predeceased by his daughter, Debra Weeks.

Norman was a loving husband and father. He proudly served his country with the army in the Korean War.

Interment will take place at Fort Jackson at Friday, February 23, 2018.
