Benjamin Rhoney, 42, of Piedmont, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 12, 2018.

He is survived by his mother Sara Landrum Rhoney, his sister Lara Pitre (Sam), his niece Haleigh, his grandmother Dora Landrum Tucker, two special aunts and uncles; Missy and Wiley Tucker, Dennis and Jane Landrum and a large extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins.

A graduate of South Side High School, Ben loved music and sang in the University of South Carolina Choir and even performed in the Handel's Messiah. Ben was a member of West Gantt First Baptist Church, Greenville.

He is preceded in death by his father Frank Rhoney, his maternal Papas; J.T. Landrum and Newel Tucker, and his paternal grandparents; Scott and Audrey Rhoney.

The visitation will be held on Friday, March 16, 2018 at 10:00 am at Palmetto Mortuary at 1017 Mauldin Road Greenville, SC with service following at 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.
