Obituary for Edgar Monroe Hollingsworth

Edgar Monroe Hollingsworth
Edgar Monroe Hollingsworth, 68, of Easley, passed away on Friday, April 20th, 2018 peacefully at his home.
He is survived by his loving daughter, Beth Hollingsworth (Casi); his granddaughter, Reagan Lynch; Dale Presley, Kathy Gambrell, Phil Kellett (Julie); and the mother of his children, Patricia Hall.
He was preceded in death by his son, Phillip Hollingsworth; and his parents, Earl D. and Sarah Kellett.
Eddie proudly served his country for two terms in Vietnam. He finished his working years as a Maintenance Supervisor at Columbia Farms. He spent his spare time fishing. He would fish anywhere, even in a gold fish bowl if there was a rod small enough. When he couldn't get outside, he wanted to find professional wrestling on TV especially when John Cena's match.
He could brighten any room with his Donald Duck interpretation, being a random jokester, or strumming his guitar and singing his favorite country classics. His granddaughter, Reagan, has taken up his passion for music as well. He loved to eat; cheeseburgers and steak were two of his favorites with a refreshing Diet Coke.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Providence Care Hospice.
The family will be receiving friends and family at Palmetto Mortuary 1017 Mauldin Road Greenville, South Carolina 29607 on Tuesday, April 24th, 2018 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
