Joyce Welch (Hudgens)
Joyce Hudgens Welch, 82, daughter of the late Mr. and. Mrs. David Cecil Hudgens Sr. and Mildred D. Miller, died peacefully at home on May 22, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her step mother Mary Hudgens; her daughter, Teresa L. Smith of Marietta. She is survived by her sons, David Lindsey and James Kevin Lindsey of Mauldin.

Joyce attended Greenville High where she was prom queen in 1954 and graduated from West Gantt High School. She was a member of Edwards Road Baptist Church and a member of the choir.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, 14, 2018 at Edwards Road Baptist Church at 2:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Edwards Road Baptist Church.
