Daddy's nana puddin

For as long as I can remember, Daddy loved banana pudding. When were growing up a Mama would make it for him all the time. As she got older she made it less and less, and so I started making it for him. He expected it on every occasion. I kind of slacked off after a while, just making it for holidays. So, he started asking me where the nana pudding was. I always hated the look of disappointment on his face. I just started making it anytime we got together. I'm so glad I did now. I may have missed a few occasions but not too often. Daddy was funny about food, all his life. He'd get hung up on something and eat it until he grew tired of it. (I'm the same way) During his last couple weeks he wouldn't eat anything but banana pudding. Daddy, I hope you are getting your fill of banana pudding up there! Someone asked me the other day if I would ever be able to make his pudding anymore. I will most definitely make it, in honor of him, I love and miss you Daddy!
