Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Sara Smith can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Sara P. Smith (Dickard)

Sara Pansey Smith, 78 of Greenville, went to be with the Lord on July 27, 2018.
She was the daughter of the late Earl and Evelyn Dickard. Sara is survived by her two sons Kenneth Dale Swafford, and Thomas Wesley Swafford Sr; Siblings Betty Floyd (Larry), and Easter Butler; Grandchildren Lesley Swafford Jencks, Thomas Wesley Swafford, Jr, and Dustin Kyle Swafford; Great Grandchildren Ellie Swafford, Thomas Wesley III, and Emry Swafford Emry. Sara is also preceded in death by her brother Lester Dickard.

Visitation will be held Monday, July 30, 2018 from 2pm to 3pm and a service at 3pm at Palmetto Mortuary. A burial will follow at Mount Pisgah Baptist Cemetery, 101 Pisgah Road, Easley, SC 29642.
