Rodney A MILLER, born 12 Feb 1947 in Covington, KY the son of the late Alta Fogle Miller and James E. MILLER went to be with the Lord on 29 September in Greenville, SC. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Sarah L MILLER (TOLLNER) formerly of Germantown, KY, 2 sons, Christopher W. MILLER (Rachael) and their daughter Olivia of Louisville, KY and Matthew A. MILLER (April) of Louisa, KY and his sister Angela B Hamilton of Tampa, Florida. In addition to his parents, He is predeceased by his brothers John E MILLER (Hope), Mark A MILLER and sister Janet MILLER.

Rodney was an accomplished musician, salesman, auctioneer, and soldier. He was a member of Lexington, SC Masonic lodge 152, Scottish Rite and York Rite. In Oct 1981, His passion and his purpose in life became to stay sober and help other alcoholics achieve sobriety and he did this steadfastly as he and his wife Sarah lived and worked in the US, France, Romania and most recently China. Rodney was a devout Christian, and witnessed his faith to others by attraction rather than promotion.

A celebration of his life will be at the Palmetto Mortuary in Mauldin, SC on 6 October. Friends and family visiting at 2:00 and service of celebration of Rodney's life at 3:00. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to the Salvation Army or the Charity of your choice.
