Walter Norman O'Shields, 75, went to be with the Lord on, Friday, September 14, 2018.

He is survived by his wife 52 years, Juanita O'Shields; his children, Jimmy Anthony O'Shields (Brenda), Wanda Nell Maloney with her fiancé, Kevin DeWayne O'Shields (Diana), Lisa Marie Boyd (Tommy Lee), Patrick Wayne O'Shields (Hallie); his sisters, Reba Gaines, Tommy Ruth Nelson, and Rachel Huey; his twelve grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.

Walter was known as a "redneck engineer" who loved woodwork, Marvel Comic Books, Westerns, and raising his hunting dogs. He will be remembered as being a family man who loved unconditionally and always taught his children to stand up for what's right.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 4:00 pm at Gap Hill Baptist Church at 127 Gap Hill Road, Six Mile. The church will provide a meal following the service in the Fellowship Building.
