Condolences

Condolence From: Wardell Herring
Condolence: David Keith was a "special" addition to the Grumpy Old Men motorcycle riders of the Metro area of Jackson, Mississippi. First class in every way and brought lots of laughs to us. David confided in me how much he loved us and what we meant to him. I also informed him of how proud the G.O.M. were to share our friendship with him. David left many of us with great brotherhood memories. We named him "Ducati Dave". Many times, he told us how proud he was of his family. R.I.P David. Your Mississippi brothers miss you.

Condolence: I'm very sorry for your loss. I really enjoyed the time I've spent with David over the past few years in Birmingham. We've had many discussions and it was obvious that he was very proud of his family. He was also very committed to his job and did some outstanding work. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time

Condolence: The very first time I met David he walked up and simply said Do you ride motorcycles? He could tell from looking at me I did. I replied yes I do. He looked at me and said motorcycles are the devil and walked off. A few min later he came in my office and said why would you ride those things. I was about to give him a piece of my mind when he started laughing and said easy, I ride too!. We laughed about that about every time I saw him. He was a GEM.

Condolence: I have known David for many years through FedEx and it was always good times to be in his presence. When I think about him I remember how happy he always was. I enjoyed listening to his stories about riding his motorcycle all over the south visiting other stations rain or shine and the obstacles along the way. I will also never forget his sense of humor with his witty safety emails and contests to constantly keep us focused on Safety. David was always quick to show how much he cared about the safety of others which is a testament to his love for others as well. David has been missed for the last several months and he will continue to be missed. Please accept my deep condolences for you loss and know that your family is in my thoughts and prayers during this time. The LORD is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed. – Psalm 34:18
