The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.
Condolence: He is also survived by a sister Melody (Dent-Brais) McFadden of Beltsville MD. Melody has 3 children who are his nephews and a niece. Kenneth also has a son Nathanael David Brais and daughter in law Katelyn Russell Brais of Stuart Florida. Nathan has 2 daughters, Ken's granddaughters. Kenneth belonged to the Church of God of Prophecy when living in Maryland (where he is from) and was a postal worker (mail carrier) by profession. Ken is also preceded in death by his beloved sister Janet Brais Dent , and an infant brother Donald George Brais who is buried at Paris Island, SC. Ken was very good to me and my family and he will be dearly missed. Ken had many friends in Maryland who loved him and were very sorry to hear he had passed. Ken was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Lanham Maryland where he was once a leader and inspiration to many. I will always remember his brown eyes and how much love and compassion he had for me.
