Isabel Ann  Wernsing (Kievning)
Isabel Ann Kievning Wernsing passed away the evening of January 24, 2018 in Greenville, South Carolina. She was born on June 12, 1945 to her parents Isabel and Frederick Kievning. She was raised and lived most of her life in Livingston, NJ.
She graduated from Livingston High School and the Berkeley Secretarial School and had worked for Beneficial Finance Company in Morristown NJ and the West Essex Tribune on Livingston. She had been an administrative assistant and secretary.
Isabel was the beloved wife of Richard W. Wernsing of Livingston, NJ for fifty three years and , devoted mother of Richard W. Wernsing, Jr. of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Frederick E. Wernsing of Simpsonville, South Carolina and proud grandmother of Nathan and Brianna Wernsing of Simpsonville, SC. She also leaves two sisters, Judith Bonnafon of Burke, Virginia, and Linda Hickman of Denver, Colorado as well as her sister-in-law Joan Higgins of Tinton Falls, NJ.
Isabel was an avid homemaker. She enjoyed her home, cooking for her family, and her gardens. Even though ill for a number of years, she was interested in those around her and in world events.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 10:00am at Palmetto Mortuary at 1017 Mauldin Road, Greenville, SC 29607.
Memorial Gifts may be sent to the attention of Andrea Hunter at Brookdale Greenville, 1306 Pelham Road, Greenville, SC 29615. Brookdale cared for her for the last few years.
