The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Jimmy Swaney can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

To all the Swaney family and friends I wish to send my deepest sympathy for your loss. I too know the sadness and loss of losing a loved one. We may question why we had to lose someone who had so much to give and who added so much meaning to our lives. I wish to share what I have found to be of comfort to me and my family. It is a scripture where Jesus speaks of a wonderful hope. It is at John 5:28,29 and there he make this promise to us. He says, “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life.....” Isn’t this amazing? Jesus showed when he was on the earth the he could restore loved ones to their families by means of the resurrection. He was able to resurrect his friend Lazarus and return him to his family. Soon his heavenly Father Jehovah will use his son Jesus to do the same for our loved one by returning them to us in the resurrection. We will see them again in paradise. At that time we will experience many other blessings. Revelation 21:4, Isaiah 25:8, Isaiah 33:24 and Psalms 37:10, 11 mention a few. I hope you will find these future blessings of comfort and I wish you all the best. Rachelle Falls
