Obituary for Beatrice Rene Hood
Beatrice Rene Hood, 53, of Travelers Rest, went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 28th, 2018.
She is survived by her loving husband, Mike Ballenger; sons, Michael and Justin Ballenger; grandchildren, Isabella Ballenger, Bristol Edmonds, and Austin Ballenger; her siblings, Dana Haynes (Dennis), Robin Hood, and Adrianna Overholt (Nathan); and her devoted mother, Linda Waldrop.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Carl Wayne Hood; father, William Carl Hood; and close friend, Cheryl Burns.
Rene loved the Lord, her friends, family, babies and all animals. She grew the most beautiful roses and made the world’s most delicious fried chicken. Rene and her family attended Greenville First Assembly of God.
The family will be receiving friends and family at Greenville First Assembly of God, 1105 Haywood Road, Greenville on Tuesday, January 1, from 2pm to 3pm. The Memorial Service will immediately follow at Greenville First Assembly of God.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Open Arms Hospice at 864-688-1700.
