Obituary for Hall Edward Eskew

Hall Edward Eskew, 53, of Greer, South Carolina, passed away on December 25, 2018.

Hall was born in Atlanta, where he and his family lived until 1973, when they moved to Greenville, SC. He graduated from J.L. Mann High School and attended classes at East Tennessee State University. Hall served in the United States Army Reserves and mastered culinary talents as a chef in Georgia and South Carolina and led construction and renovation projects as a contractor in the Charleston, SC area. Hall loved his Labrador retrievers and enjoyed hunting, fishing and boating. He volunteered in political campaigns and will be remembered for his generosity and humor.

Hall is survived by two older brothers, Rhea T. Eskew, Jr. of Medfield, MA and Tucker A. Eskew of Alexandria, VA, and his sister, Vaughan E. Overman of Greer, SC. He was predeceased by his grandparents Benjamin M. and Elizabeth V. Hall and Sammie T. Eskew, and by his parents, Rhea T. and Nancy H. Eskew.

Services will be private. Memorials may be made to Buncombe St. United Methodist Church or the Greenville Humane Society, both in Greenville, SC.
