Obituary for Martha E. Bullock

Martha Etrulia (Trudy) Gilreath Bullock, 80, born in Liberty, SC on May 21, 1938, passed from this life to the next on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 in Greenville, SC. She was the daughter of the late Robert Oliver Gilreath and Eva Alice McCrary Gilreath.
Martha was retired from the School District of Greenville County where she worked as a bus driver and teacher’s aide at Washington Center.
She is survived by daughters Kimberly Jones and Alison Patrick and son Kevin Bullock and his wife Cindy, grandchildren Jessica Moser (James), Adam Gray Jones, Kevin Bullock II (Rachel), Megan Bullock, Luke Patrick, and Anna Patrick, granddaughter-in-law Jamie Jones Smith and great grandchildren Sarah Jones, Miles Jones, Emily Smith, and Nathaniel Jones and lifelong friend Carolyn Hamlin.
She was predeceased by a grandson Benjamin Jones and an infant sister Edith Gilreath.
Martha enjoyed easy listening music, driving in the mountains, and the beach, especially Charleston, SC. However, spending time with her family is what brought her the most joy. She had immense love and pride for all of her family. She loved talking to people and made friends all along her journey.
The family would like to thank the second floor staff at St. Francis Bon Secours Hospital downtown for their compassionate care of her and her family during her final days.
Honoring her wishes, a private memorial service will be held in lieu of a funeral. She always had a kind and generous heart for those in need. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the charity of your choice.
