Obituary for Patricia Bernadette Romero
Patricia Bernadette Romero (Benavidez) , 56, of Greenville,South Carolina went home to the Lord on Saturday March 9, 2019.
Born in Greenville, SC, she is the daughter of the late Edward D. and Eleanor Benavidez.
She is survived by her sons, Thomas Swafford Jr. (spouse: Bianca Swafford), and Dustin Swafford; her daughters, Lesley Jencks (spouse: Michael Jencks), Arlette Redd, and Sonya Watrous; her siblings Phyllis Cain and Charles Gaschler; her grandchildren, Eleanor Swafford, Thomas Swafford III, Emrys Swafford, Lorelei Swafford and Dianna Redd; her nieces, Julie Key, Lisa Nuzum and Lauren Cain; her nephews, Brandon Benavidez, William Cain, Justin Cooper, Austin Marchbanks and Seth Nimmons; her Aunt, Sister Maureen (Aunt Joyce); her best friends, Becky Chism, Cheryl Parker and Tracy Skinner; her former-husband's Thomas Swafford Sr. and Agropino Romero; and her beloved animals Osita and Tom.
Patricia was employed for fifteen years at The Blood Connection and Charter Communications for two years. She had a special love for people, animals, and tacos. She also enjoyed dancing, listening to music and especially going to the beach.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Gloria Nuzum and Russell Benavidez.
The Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2019 from Noon - 2:00 pm at the Greenville Shrine Club at 119 Beverly Road, Greenville, SC 29609.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Cancer Society of Greenville County.
