Benjamin Ericson Sever, born September 17th, 1988, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 24th, 2019. Ben was a lifelong resident of Simpsonville, SC, and he is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Eddie and Cleda Raad, and paternal grandparents, Frank and Myrtle Sever. He was beloved as a father, a son, a brother, a cousin, nephew, and friend. Just 30 years old, Ben is survived by his daughter, Avalynn Emily Catherine Sever and her mother Megan Bollet, his father and mother, Eric and Cathie Sever, and his siblings Katelyn Abrams (Chris), Christina Sever, and Josie Sever, as well as his aunts, uncles and cousins, who were as close as siblings. His personality always brought laughter and genuine conversation. He was loved by everyone that knew him, whether they’d met him once, or known him for a lifetime. Ben was passionate about anything he set his mind to and was always seeking to gain new knowledge. He positively impacted many lives in his 30 years through his generosity, lending ear and helping hands. He will be greatly missed by his family, but always remembered for the wonderful years and memories with his family and friends.
The family will be receiving friends and family at 11:00 am on March 2, 2019 at Hope Church at 806 South East Main Street, Simpsonville, SC. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 pm.
