Betty Lindsey Neal, born on January 28, 1933, passed away May 9, 2019 with her children by her side. She was born in Greenville, SC. but spent the majority of her life in Ninety Six, SC.
She was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Nellie Lindsey.
Betty was retired from Greenwood Mills, and was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Ninety Six.
She was preceded in death by her husband "Bug" Neal, daughter Donna Neal McCarthy, son-in-law Gary Chappell, and a great grand-daughter.
She is survived by her daughter, Pam Neal Grant (Steve) of Easley, son Brian Neal (Jill) of Ninety Six, five grandchildren; Amy Myers (Randy) of Easley, Jill Lewis (Kevin) of Pickens, Tyler Neal of Ninety Six, Forest Dove (Heather) of Ninety Six, Sheldon Dove of Ninety Six, and her special friend, James Goff.
She was a great grandmother to nine, and a great-great grandmother to four.
A graveside service will be held at 1pm on Monday, May 13, 2019 at Greenwood Memorial Gardens in Hodges.
The grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
The family will be at the home of Brian Neal, 204 Kate Fowler Rd. in Ninety Six.
