Obituary for Eugene Johnson
Mr. Eugene Johnson, born March 6, 1951, went home to be with the Lord on June 21, 2019, at 5:27pm at St. Francis Hospital, downtown, Greenville, SC. He was the son of the late Eddie Johnson & Zilla Mae Lynch Johnson, of Greenville, SC. He was preceded in death by one sister, Edna P. Dillard; five brothers, James, David, Stanley, Jackie, and Dwight Johnson.
He leaves to cherish fond memories: wife, Joanne Boyd Johnson, sisters, Geraldine (James) Williams of Mauldin, SC,
Pamela Taylor of Taylors, SC, and Antonia Ashmore Johnson of Killeen, TX, one aunt, Thelma Lee of Cincinnati, OH, a dear friend, Sharon Walker of Greenville, SC, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 23, 2019, at 2:30pm at Palmetto Mortuary, 1017 Mauldin Road, Greenville, SC 29607.
