Obituary for Susan Gray (Costello)
Susan Gray, 68, of Greenville, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 18th, 2019. She was the daughter of the late Nicholas Costello and Dora Costello.
She is survived by her loving sons, Timothy Thomas Gray and Jeffrey Stephen Gray; siblings, Cliff Costello, Robert Costello, Rick Costello; adoring grandchildren, Benjamin Thomas Gray, Lydia Aven Gray, Haven Lenora Gray, Josiah Patrick Gray, Talitha Eden Gray, Brennen Alexander Gray, Ethan Laurance Gray, and Shiloh Susannah Gray; and her adoring mother, Dora Brunner Costello.
She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Thomas Patrick Gray; and father, Nicholas Costello.
Susan's main goal in life was to bring glory to her Lord. She greatly encouraged her fellow brothers and sisters in Christ through handwritten letters and cards. She was a faithful, loyal, and practical friend to all those who knew her.She loved hosting friends and family. She would provide them with home baked goods at any opportunity. They could always count on her to join a card game. She shared more of her talents through her cross stich and crochet work. She enjoyed reading and operas.
The funeral service will follow at Faith Baptist Church, Taylors, 500 West Lee Road Taylors, South Carolina 29687 on Tuesday, July 23rd, 2019 at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hidden Treasure Christian School.
