Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Sarah Alexander can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Sarah Allen Alexander, 91, of Greenville, SC died September 4, 2017.

Born in Grenville, she was the daughter of the late Robert Earl and Maudelle (Pirkle) Allen. Mrs. Alexander was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church since 1959.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to WTBI, 3931 White Horse Road, Greenville, SC 29611.

She was the loving wife of the late James Herbert Alexander. She also was preceded in death by her son, Jim Alexander; son-in-law, Larry Goins; 2 Grandchildren; and 1 Great Grandchild.

She was survived by a daughter Dianne Goins, of Greenville; three sons and daughters-in-law, Vicki Alexander of Easley, Bob and Susie Alexander of Simpsonville, and Ronnie and Louise Alexander of Powdersville; 11 Grandchildren; 19 Great Grandchildren; and, 8 Great-Great Grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Tabernacle Baptist Church to be immediately followed by the funeral service. The burial will be at Graceland West Cemetery at 12:30 pm at 3931 White Horse Road, Greenville, SC 29611. Continued receiving of friends and family will take place at the residence of Mrs. Vicki Alexander at 101 Cardiff Court, Easley, SC 29640.
